West London singer-songwriter Matilda Mann dropped a new EP earlier this month, but it's not too late to check it out. Indie-folk influenced by Laura Marling, Big Thief and The Staves, the 20-year-old's music showcases her impressive voice and mellow, minimalist folksy style.

If That Makes Sense opens with 'The Loch Ness Monster' and is followed by 'The Fucking Best' which, in all honesty, is a pretty good synopsis of the entire EP. 'Pure Madness' is pure bliss, soul-infused folk that brings to mind Loyle Carner and Arlo Parks.

For 'Nothing at All' she brings in fellow Londoner Lucy Lu and it's to great effect that she does so. Their voices compliment each other perfectly over stripped-back guitar. The EP ends with 'Never Sweeter', which begins quite sparse but builds up to an emphatic finish where Mann's voice truly shines.
